The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024-2025 in September 2024. The recruitment aims to fill vacancies for the Constable (General Duty)

SSC GD Constable Revised Vacancy Details 2024

As per the revised notification, the total number of vacancies for the SSC GD Constable 2024 examination is 46,617. These vacancies are distributed among various forces as follows:​

SSC GD Constable Tentative Vacancy Details 2025

For the upcoming SSC GD Constable 2025 examination, the SSC has announced a total of 39,481 tentative vacancies.

SSC GD Constable 2025 Examination Schedule

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the SSC GD Constable 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on the following dates:​

• February 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2025

• 💪 SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 – Physical Standard Test (PST)

  Candidates who qualify in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will be shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PST is conducted to assess whether the candidate meets the required physical measurements for the post of Constable (General Duty).

  • Unexpanded Chest: Minimum 80 cm

  • Expanded Chest: Minimum 85 cm (i.e., expansion of 5 cm is mandatory)

    The CBE is an objective-type test conducted online. It includes four sections:
